Meet Helen Higgins
Who?
Helen Higgins is a smart and proactive BeautyCat who joined Jessicat’s Medi-Spa in 2017 at just 45 years young. Well ahead of many of our more mature-aged clients.
Rather than relying solely on her great genetics, Helen chose to get ahead of the damage and address early signs such as fine lines, uneven texture, and a gradual loss of firmness before they became more noticeable. Now 53, Helen looks absolutely radiant, not just thanks to her genes, but because she chose to care for her skin consistently and intentionally.
Helen is a Type III on the Fitzpatrick Skin Type Scale, which means her skin tone is light to medium and tends to tan gradually after initial mild burning. People with this skin type usually have beige or light olive undertones and can safely tolerate moderate sun exposure, though sunscreen is still essential to prevent pigmentation and premature aging.
Why?
Helen spent quite some time following our social media before deciding to take the next step and commit to our services. She wanted to make sure her hard-earned time and money were invested wisely in treatments that truly work — treatments that could strengthen and rebuild thinning skin, restore muscle tone in the face, neck, and chest, and minimise the need for quick-fix solutions like Botox or filler injectables.
Helen never wanted to go down the injectable path. What drew her to Jessicat’s Medi Spa was Jessicat’s balanced approach, offering effective, non-invasive alternatives to Botox and fillers without judging or criticising those who choose them. What?
Helen started working through an Intensive Skin and Muscle Foundation Package designed to repair and rebuild the skin and muscles in her face, neck, and chest, repairing and rebuilding from the deepest layers of the dermis to the surface. This foundational work stimulated collagen, elastin, and blood vessel formation, leaving her skin noticeably firmer, lifted, and beautifully plump. Creating a strong foundation of results to build upon.
Then Helen transitioned to a combination of Intensive 3-Stage Body Sculpting Package to improve the look of thighs, hips and abdominals, and Diamond Membership to build on the results she gained from her Foundation Package on her face, neck and chest and hand areas in the most cost-effective way possible.
Helen enjoys all the different state-of-the-art aesthetic therapies that work to target the underlying cause of the ageing process, including Microcurrent Muscle, Exilis Ultra 360, Monopolar Radio Frequency/Ultrasound, and RF Microneedling therapies, used within 5-Stage Face Lifting treatments that form the foundation of her Diamond Membership.
She also enjoys treatments done on her whole face, neck and chest areas within every session, skincare, at-home beauty technologies and add-on treatments such as HIFU, Venus Viva, Plaxel+ True Plasma Fibroblast and Full Body LED Light therapies, complementary, as well as many other goodies to help push her reults further as they continue to develop over time and spoil her as a reward for her comitment to our service.
Our wonderful client, Helen Higgins, is participating in a case study to evaluate the effectiveness of targeting hormonal abdominal weight using only HIFU and NUBWAY Electromagnetic EMS & RF technology.
Our standard 3-Stage Body Sculpting treatments typically consist of six to eight weekly sessions, each lasting 2.5 to 3.5 hours. These treatments combine Exilis Ultra 360 Monopolar RF/Ultrasound and NUBWAY Multipolar RF therapy to tighten the skin, shrink fat cells, and eliminate a portion of them.
Additionally, we enhance these results with EMS/RF, Full Body Red/Near Infrared LED Light, and HIFU therapies.

Full Body Red and Near Infared therapy was provided within every treatment session, as well as two half-hour NUBWAY Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS +RF) treatment sessions, enjoyed whilst chilling out in front of a TV show on Binge (we are now signed up to Prime for the next three months).
