Meet Helen Cross
Helen is a mature-aged woman who enjoys a comprehensive anti-ageing and beauty service that addresses the root causes of the natural ageing process while supporting long-term skin health and beauty.

Helen has fair/redhead skin, Type 1 leaning towards Type 2 on the Fitzpatrick scale. She first came to Jessicat at 57, in 2016, concerned with her eye area and nasolabial folds. Her skin also showed fine lines and wrinkles, sagging around the mouth and under the jaw, deep neck lines, uneven texture and tone, rosacea, and sun damage from the harsh Australian sun.

Helen is 66 years young as of 2025 and has remained consistent with treatments provided by our service.

Helen started with Intensive Skin Foundation Package's treatments in, focusing on repairing and rebuilding the skin from the deepest layers of the dermis to the surface. This foundation improved collagen, elastin, and blood vessel formation, leaving her skin lifted, plump, and radiant with reduced pigmentation.
Helen also has an autoimmune condition, which can slow results, but she has shown remarkable progress with tailored, long-term care.

Then in 2023, she progressed to our Diamond Membership layering in Microcurrent Muscle work to repair and strengthen the facial muscles that support the skin, enhancing lift and contour naturally. Her treatments have also included complimentary work on her hands and forearms within sessions, as well as advanced at-home treatments such as her microcurrent device, LED light therapy, and at-home microneedling.

When needed, we provide complimentary HIFU, Plasma Fibroblast, and Venus Viva, all of which are included within our memberships at no extra cost when the skin calls for it.

Sometimes Jess gets a little too excited during first-time consultations and treatments, and we forget to check if the "before" photo lighting is perfect. Then when it's time to take the "after" photos, everything’s set up just right, with ideal lighting, and that’s when we realise the original photo doesn’t quite match. So if you ever see a lighting adjustment in our photos, that’s why! Just making sure the results speak for themselves.
Helen’s skin is visibly thicker, more resilient, and naturally lifted. Fine lines and wrinkles have softened, pigmentation has improved, and her overall texture and tone are much more even. Her progress is particularly inspiring given her autoimmune condition, demonstrating the power of patience, consistency, and tailored treatment.
What makes Helen’s progress even more inspiring is that she suffers from an autoimmune condition. Autoimmune disorders, like Hashimoto’s, lupus, or rheumatoid arthritis, can affect how the skin heals and responds to treatments. Clients with these conditions often experience slower results, and many don’t even know they have one until they begin noticing their skin isn’t responding the way it should.
Jessicat works very carefully with autoimmune clients, as their skin and body may need extra time and support to see visible improvements. It can be challenging, especially when results take longer to appear, but over time, the transformations do come, just like in Helen’s case.
Helen enjoys all the different state-of-the-art aesthetic therapies that work to target the underlying cause of the ageing process, including Microcurrent Muscle, Exilis Ultra 360, Monopolar Radio Frequency/Ultrasound, and RF Microneedling therapies, used within 5-Stage Face Lifting treatments that form the foundation of her Diamond Membership.
