Meet Helen
Helen is 66 years young and came to Jessicat with 57, on 2016.
Helen began her skin treatments with us back in 2016, with her main concerns being the eye area and nasolabial folds. Over the years, she has worked consistently through Intensive Skin-Only treatments, focusing on repairing and rebuilding her skin from the deepest layers of the dermis, where new collagen, elastin, and blood vessels are formed, all the way up to the surface.

This foundation of healthy, strong skin has led to impressive results: not only is her skin visibly lifted, juicy, and plumped, but her pigmentation has significantly improved, leaving her with a beautifully even and radiant skin tone.

Now that her skin is thicker and more resilient, Helen has progressed to the next phase of her journey.
In 2023, she began layering in microcurrent muscle work, a crucial step that helps to repair and rebuild the facial muscles, the very scaffolding that supports the skin. This deeper approach allows us to further enhance her lift and contour in a natural, non-invasive way.

To support her journey, Helen also incorporates advanced at-home treatments, including her microcurrent device, LED light therapy, and at-home microneedling. Her in-clinic treatments include the full face, neck, and chest, and even extend to the hands, ensuring a seamless and youthful appearance across all visible areas.

When needed, we provide complimentary HIFU, Plasma Fibroblast, and Venus Viva, all of which are included within our memberships at no extra cost when the skin calls for it.

Sometimes Jess gets a little too excited during first-time consultations and treatments, and we forget to check if the "before" photo lighting is perfect. Then when it's time to take the "after" photos, everything’s set up just right, with ideal lighting, and that’s when we realise the original photo doesn’t quite match. So if you ever see a lighting adjustment in our photos, that’s why! Just making sure the results speak for themselves.
What makes Helen’s progress even more inspiring is that she suffers from an autoimmune condition. Autoimmune disorders, like Hashimoto’s, lupus, or rheumatoid arthritis, can affect how the skin heals and responds to treatments. Clients with these conditions often experience slower results, and many don’t even know they have one until they begin noticing their skin isn’t responding the way it should.
Jessicat works very carefully with autoimmune clients, as their skin and body may need extra time and support to see visible improvements. It can be challenging, especially when results take longer to appear, but over time, the transformations do come, just like in Helen’s case.
