Looking Timelessly Youthful Long Term. What does it take?

Updated: 4 days ago

What Should We Consider When Working To Create A More Youthful Look?

Our bodies are made up of skin, which is divided into the epidermis and dermis, fat, muscles, ligaments and bones.

As We Age, The Face Falls From Top To Bottom.

Why? Thinning skin, depleting muscle mass and fat loss make up the biggest portion of why our appearance changes as we mature!

No Matter How Well You Care For The Material On A Couch, Its Fibres Will Deplete In Size & Strength Over Time, Which Is Why The Core Treatment Therapy Used In Our 4-Stage Face Lifting Treatments Is Medical-Grade Radio Frequency.

The stuffing within the couch will also deplete in size and strength. How quickly and how much of the shape of the couch will be maintained over time will depend on how dense the stuffing is and what the stuffing/foam/whatever was used to make the couch hold its shape over time.

Think of the fat and muscles of your face and neck areas as being like the stuffing on a couch!

This Is What We Are Up Against!

- A breakdown of bone mass, particularly within the mid-face.

ree

As we age, there is a gradual breakdown of bone mass within the facial skeleton, particularly in the mid-face; the area that includes the cheekbones, upper jaw (maxilla), and the bony support around the nose and eyes.

-A depletion of muscle mass within the features of the face and neck.

ree

Ageing doesnʼt just affect the skin and bones; it also impacts the muscles, which act as the scaffolding beneath the skin and give your face its natural volume and shape. Over time, muscle mass gradually decreases in key areas like the cheeks, jawline, and around the eyes and mouth, contributing to the changes we see in the face as we age.

When thinking of the muscles of the face, think of them being the support system/scaffolding that the skin sits upon.

-A loss of fat on the face and neck.

ree

You WILL lose Fat On Your Face between 50-80 and there is nothing you can do about it!

Using synthetic fillers or treatments like fat transfer should not be considered until depleting muscle mass (that begins as early as our 30s) is addressed properly using Microcurrent Muscle therapy. HIFU Muscle therapy can then be used to fortify the results gained from Microcurrent therapy to properly repair and rebuild the muscles of the face, neck and chest areas that create a solid scaffolding for the skin to sit upon.

Then, when the muscles and skin are properly repaired, rebuilt, and working optimally at a cellular level, synthetic fillers or fat transfer procedures may be considered to complete the look.

Facial fat loss is a natural part of aging, leading to a hollowed or gaunt appearance as we age. This occurs due to a combination of factors, including fat pad atrophy and shifting, as well as changes in bone structure.

-Thinning skin on the face and neck.

The skin can begin to thin as early as our mid-30s. This is caused by the cells of the dermis making less Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP), which is the very energy currency our cells draw upon in order to perform optimally.

The dermis sends new collagen, elastin and blood vessels grow up into the outer layers of the skin, being the epidermis, and as it depletes, in strength, size and functionality less and less collagen and elastin is sent up into the epidermis. This, along with depleting muscle mass, causes fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, pigmentation issues and sagging skin.

Let's be clear, overfilling the skin with your healthy collagen, elastin and blood vessel growth, as well as creating more bulk through repairing and rebuilding the muscles beneath, is very different from overfilling the face and neck using injectable fillers.

Let also be clear, fat loss caused by Exilis RF/Ultrasound and Venus Viva Diamond Polar RF/Magnetic Pulse therapies is NOT A THING!

Jessicat has spent the past 11 years working up to 14 hours a day, 6 days a week, performing Radio Frequency (RF) and Ultrasound therapies on women whose skin has naturally thinned with age. Many of these clients had extremely delicate skin, yet in all this time, not a single one has experienced facial fat loss as a result of treatment. If RF or Ultrasound truly caused fat loss in the face, Jessicat’s long and intensive career would have revealed it by now.

What frustrates Jessicat most is hearing doctors, who often lack practical experience with these technologies, claim that any heat-based aesthetic treatment inevitably causes fat loss in the face or neck. Her real-world results prove otherwise: RF and Ultrasound therapies have consistently helped rebuild facial structures, restoring youthfulness without ever accelerating the ageing process.

She acknowledges that certain facial shapes, such as long or oval faces, are naturally more prone to jowl formation. However, through her experience with every facial type, she has repeatedly confirmed that treatments like Diamond Polar and Exilis do not cause fat loss.

As both a facial rejuvenation and body sculpting specialist, Jessicat also knows how challenging it is to reduce unwanted fat and cellulite on the body while achieving lasting results. Mature-age women, in particular, face unique hurdles; hormonal changes, slower metabolism, and lifelong habits around food. Because of this, Jessicat is undertaking a Certificate IV in Weight Loss Management to better support her clients’ long-term health and results, regardless of dietary preferences or busy lifestyles.

She believes that when women think they’ve lost facial fat due to RF or Ultrasound, it’s usually because they’re already at a natural “tipping point”, a stage in their late 30s and beyond when thinning skin, reduced muscle mass, and inevitable fat loss in the face begin to appear. Treatments performed at the same time can be mistakenly blamed, when in reality, it’s part of the ageing process.

For clients seeking a timeless, youthful look, Jessicat advocates a carefully combined approach.

This client gained amazing results from working through a 4-Stage Face Lifting course of treatments combined with traditional Microneedling therapy. The client went on to commit to Next-Step Maintenance treatments that included HIFU and Venus Viva treatments, done ongoing every 2 months.

These pictures show the client's face and neck side and the effect of targeting the problem of thinning skin head-on.

The natural ageing process is no slouch, and it takes the right combination of both non-fractional and fractional radiofrequency therapy, combined with clinic-grade Microcurrent Muscle and LED Light therapy to attain and maintain a timelessly youthful look.

This is why it is important NOT to waste time and money on unnecessary topical skin care products and or superficial aesthetic treatments like Microdermabrasion, (which Jessica helps many of her clients to set up with at home and also provides FREE within her treatment processes).

When thinking of skincare, think of machines over creams!

Skin is made up of the epidermis and the dermis.

A BIG reason why the skin begins to thin, which causes fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation issues, textural issues such as enlarged pores, and sagging skin is depleting levels of Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP).

ATP is referred to as the energy of life by biologists due to it being the very energy currency within every cell of our bodies.

As we mature, less and less ATP is created, meaning our cells have less and less energy to do what they need to do.

So, if we consider skin cells, specifically the cells of the dermis which is the deepest layer of the skin and responsible for collagen, elastin, and blood vessel growth, depleting levels of ATP means the Dermis has less and less energy to function optimally, creating less blood vessel growth to feed oxygen and nutrients into the skin and send new collagen and elastin up into the epidermis continuously.

Jessicat Skincare routine:

Microcurrent therapy works to raise ATP by up to 500% in as little as 3 minutes. This is why all Jessicat clients use an easy-to-use Microcurrent device for 3 minutes on the skin on the face, then 3 minutes on the neck, then chest areas twice a day, over a cheap and effective Hyaluronic acid-based serum or gel followed by sealing the Hyaluronic acid into the skin with a cheap and effective moisturizer that often contains a dash of plant-derived glycerin.

Red LED Light therapy works to raise ATP levels by up to 47% and improves the overall function of cells exponentially.

Let's be clear: overfilling the skin with your collagen, elastin and blood vessel growth as well as creating more bulk through repairing and rebuilding the muscles beneath is very different from overfilling the face and neck using injectable fillers.

Yes, injectables are a quick-fix treatment that is available everywhere but is it really worth it? And more importantly, is it healthy?
