How Is EMYoung Different From Traditional EMS?
At Jessicat’s Medi-Spa, we are always evolving and refining the technologies we use to ensure our clients achieve the best possible long-term results.
With that in mind, we are excited to introduce EMYoung EMS + RF Therapy — a very different type of muscle stimulation technology to anything we’ve used before.

What Makes EMYoung Different?

Traditional Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) has been widely used in both beauty and fitness industries. However, results from standard EMS treatments are typically short-lived, often lasting only a few days to a week.

EMYoung takes a far more advanced approach.

By combining HIFES (High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic Stimulation) with Radiofrequency (RF), this technology works not only on the muscles but also on the skin at the same time.
Understanding the Technology

HIFES Technology works by stimulating motor neurons to trigger deep, powerful muscle contractions. In a single session, this can create thousands of contractions that would be impossible to achieve through voluntary movement alone.
At the same time, RF (Radiofrequency) gently heats the deeper layers of the skin. This stimulates collagen production, helping to improve skin thickness, firmness, and overall structure.
This dual-action approach allows us to target both the muscle foundation and the skin quality simultaneously.
EMYoung vs Traditional EMS
Traditional EMS uses low-frequency electrical pulses to stimulate muscles.
While effective for basic muscle activation, fitness, and rehabilitation, it does not provide the same level of depth, intensity, or long-term structural change.
EMYoung, on the other hand, delivers:
• Stronger and more structured muscle contractions
• Deeper stimulation of muscle groups
• Simultaneous collagen stimulation through RF
• A more comprehensive and long-term approach to lifting and contouring
How Does This Compare to Microcurrent Therapy?
Microcurrent therapy remains a key part of our treatments and works on a cellular level to repair and rebuild muscles over time. EMYoung complements this by working in a more global and intensive way, activating muscle groups through repeated contractions while also supporting the skin through RF.
Together, these technologies allow us to approach anti-ageing from multiple angles.
